'Tis the season to celebrate! On one cold night very soon, in the wee hours of the morning, children will be visited by magical beings, but not Santa this time—it's Krampus time! Join San Francisco Krampus and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as they pay homage to the scary side of Christmas at their annual Krampus Pageant, and help us raise money for LGBTQ+ Youth!On Saturday, December 14th, from 3pm to 8pm, come to El Rio to watch a pageant where the naughty creatures of San Francisco will join a panel of stern judges and compete for a chance to be crowned the Krampus of 2024.
WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CONTESTANTS!
Do you think you have what it takes to be the new Krampus of 2024? You will be judged in three areas:
• Your costume (all interpretations of Krampus or other evil creatures welcome!)
• A short talent act (a lipsyncing, a speech, performance, etc.)
• Answering a few questions from the judges

The winner will receive a special effects makeup gift package and all other top contestants an array of very special prizes to help them through the holidays— if you know what we mean!
The pageant will also feature some very special (and spooky) drag performances, DJs, and live music! Best of all, it's all for charity! This year, our beneficiary is Larkin Street Youth Services, one of the most important non-profit organizations in the Bay Area working hard to end youth homelessness. Last year, we raised over $6k!!!

Contest starts: 4 pm
Price: A suggested donation of $10 to $20 at the door (cash, PayPal or Venmo accepted!) - No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
