Sexual Healing

Course Description

This half day course is part of our multi-agency training programme aimed at any staff, volunteers and carers working with or supporting young people.

Training is FREE to all those working in Nottingham City and Southern Boroughs (Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe).

Training Aims:

This training course provides the current context in relation to young people’s sexual health locally and nationally.

Learning Outcomes:

It aims to increase participants:

• Knowledge in relation to young people and sexual health.

• Confidence and skills to talk to young people effectively.

• Awareness of where to refer young people to for clinical and support services.

This also includes aspects of promoting delay, healthy relationships, consent, safer sex and staying safe on line.

Refreshments: Please note that lunch is NOT provided. Free tea and coffee vending machines are available.
