Sewn Board Book Binding Workshop

Learn the art of hand bookbinding in this beginner-friendly Sewn Board Book workshop! Participants will create their own handmade hardcover journal or sketchbook using sewn board binding techniques, where the covers are stitched directly into the book structure for a beautifully exposed spine design. Students will learn how to fold signatures, sew pages together, attach covers, and assemble a finished book they can take home and use for journaling, sketching, or gifting.
No prior experience is needed. All materials are provided, though participants are welcome to bring decorative papers or fabric scraps to personalize their covers.
