In this workshop, you'll transform a pair of jeans into a mini skirt. **This workshop is for students who already know how to operate a sewing machine,** so that we can jump straight into creating.
**You'll practice skills like:**
- Deconstructing a pair of jeans
- Planning and assembling an upcycled design
- Gathering fabric
- Measuring and Drafting a pattern
- Layering patchwork
- Choosing the right sewing machine needle for your project
- Finishing techniques for a polished garment
### **In Case You're Wondering...**
- Please bring **a pair of jeans that fit you at the waist** (thrifted jeans work great!)
- Sewing machines and all additional materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring your own machine and any garments or fabric you'd like to use for your design.
