We have some great news!Flash Village Hall is going to run three FREE craft sessions titled Sewing Together: Community Chat & Crafts.
These will be between September 2025 and January 2026. All materials will be provided for the sessions and refreshments will also be included.
This project has been supported by the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council Community Social Action Fund.
Session 2
We want to celebrate the Rose Queen festival even more this year, and we would like for the community to feel more like they are part of creating the celebrations.
Our second community craft session will be learning how to make fabric roses.
We will be sewing together some fabric roses that you can either take home, or donate to become decorations for the future Rose Queen celebrations.
This is great for any skill level, whether you've never made anything like this before, or whether you sew roses every Sunday!
The session is suitable for all ages.
Younger children can attend but will need to be supervised by an adult at all times. There will be use of needles, thread and hot glue.
The session is free to attend, but please tick "Going" on the event so we can keep a track of numbers. If you would like to come as a group, please send us a message to let me know numbers.
Thanks so much
Emma Chester
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A HOT GLUE GUN, PLEASE BRING THIS WITH YOU AS WE MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE AT THE SAME TIME.
