Sewing Skills - Christmas Stockings

This one-day class is the perfect fit for you if you have just started out, or have never used a craft panel before.

We will teach you:

• How to thread your machine, top and bottom.
• How to balance your tensions.
• How to choose an appropriate stitch.
• Changing stitch length.
• How to use wadding
• Simple quilting techniques
• How to insert a lining

You will feel comfortable using a machine so that together we can make a Christmas stocking together, using a craft panel, by the end of the class.

This class is designed to help you gain the confidence you need to continue your sewing journey once you get home. Learning some of the basic rules of sewing will give you the best start to help you flourish in your new hobby.

Supplied: Machines, Scissors, Pins, Tape Measures, Haberdashery, Tea and Coffee.

Required: craft panel, matching lining, matching thread colour, suitable wadding, Lunch. Please ask in store if you need assistance with picking appropriate materials for the class.
