Join us as we demystify patterns on Friday, July 12th from 6-8pm! We will be going over the basics of how to read a sewing pattern. We will explore grain lines, pattern symbols, how to choose your fabric and notions for each pattern, and how to measure yourself for your patterns. You may bring a pattern of your choice to go over in this class, or one will be provided for you in class. You are also welcome to bring fabric with you, but that is not required. We will not be sewing in this class, just covering patterns! We will be going over Simplicity, Vogue, McCalls, and Butterwick patterns. What you will learn from these patterns are easily transitioned to indie patterns from Etsy or other retailers.
Please include your sewing pattern sizing at check out so that we can ensure to provide inclusive pattern options. See the sizing chart in the listing photos. If you would like help with learning your measurements, you can watch this video.
