Do you have a sewing machine at home but you don't know where to start? Or maybe you are thinking about getting a sewing machine but you are not too sure sewing is the right thing for you?
Then our Sewing Machine Workshop is exactly what you need. This workshop is designed to walk you through the basics, build your confidence and get you started on the exciting journey of sewing!
The small workshop size ensures valuable one-to-one teacher and participant time, allowing maximum engagement and assistance.
We will cover:
- how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, and change the needle
- looking at the different types of seams and finishing techniques
- practice how to sew straight lines, curves, and turn corners
-make a pouch with a zip or mend your clothing
- how to maintain your sewing machine and prevent costly service charges
To keeps the class focused on everyone’s personal needs, we are only taking on 5 students per workshop.
