Sewing for Beginners Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew but didn’t know where to start?
Have you felt curious about clothing repair, upcycling, or making your own garments, but thought sewing was too complicated or intimidating?

Our Sewing for Beginners Workshop is designed especially for you.

This friendly, hands-on workshop is a welcoming introduction to sewing for complete beginners. Whether you have never touched a sewing machine before or have tried sewing once or twice and felt unsure, this workshop will guide you step by step in a relaxed, supportive, and creative environment.

Hosted in our creative repurpose space, this workshop is more than just a class—it’s an experience that connects creativity, sustainability, community, and practical life skills.

This Sewing for Beginners Workshop is a carefully designed learning experience that introduces the fundamentals of sewing in a way that is easy to understand, confidence-building, and enjoyable.

You will learn:

• How a sewing machine works
• Basic sewing techniques
• How to handle fabric correctly
• Simple garment construction and repairs
• Learn, seams, stitches, the anatomy of a sewing machine..

We focus on learning by doing, with plenty of guidance, demonstrations, and one-to-one support throughout the session, You do not need any prior sewing experience.

You have the option of registering for either wednesday starting on the 7th of January ending onthe 11th of February for 6 weeks or a Friday on the 9th of January ending on the 13th of February. choose either a Wednesday or a Friday date, you can't swap dates, If you email me I can arrange that.
