This class is designed for the true beginner, ages 8 and up. We will start by taking a tour of a sewing machine; looking at its functions and features, winding and loading a bobbin, threading the machine, replacing a needle, changing the presser foot, care and maintenance, and how to operate safely. We’ll then put our skills into practice by learning how to sew straight seams while making fabric bookmarks for yourself and your friends.Pre-registration required, bit.ly/sftaneedlework.
