Join DOORWAYS and the Missouri History Museum for a dynamic conversation exploring the intersection of fashion, textile arts, creative communities, and HIV/AIDS activism. Moderated by Susan Barrett of Barrett Barrera Projects, the panel will feature Project Runway All Stars winner Mondo Guerra; artist, activist, and acclaimed performer Maxi Glamour; writer and organizer Ted Kerr; and Roseann Weiss, creative advisor and strategist.
Organized alongside DOORWAYS’ unconventional fashion showcase “ALTBALL” the evening before the discussion will explore the important roles of art in awareness and advocacy—both at the height of the epidemic and today.
This is a free program and open to the public.
