Sewing Basics  - Multi Day Class

This will be a 4 week class every saterday from:

Feb 8th - 12-1:30

Feb 15th - 12-1:30

Feb 22nd - 12-1:30

March 1st - 12-1:30

Learn the basics of sewing- using a sewing machine, serger, measuring yourself correctly and reading a pattern, as well as picking out fabrics and learning about them. We will be buying shirt or dress patterns off Sewist.com (your choice) and walking through the process of making a simple finished garment.

No prior sewing skill required:

Class 1 will be on sewing basics

Class 2 on choosing a pattern and the serger

Class 3 on making a practice garment, fabric choices, and fitting

Class 4 on making the final garment

Please note test fabric will be avalable for the mockup step but the final fabric will have to be provided by the atendee. How to choose the correct fabric for the chosen patern will be talked about in class #3.
