Sewing a Tote Bag

In this workshop, you'll sew straight seams, attach straps, and finish edges. Leave with a usable bag and applicable skills.

**What You'll Learn**
You'll cut fabric, sew seams with proper seam allowance, and attach handles securely. We'll cover pressing and edge finishing. By the end, you'll have a completed tote bag.

**What's Included**
All materials are provided, including fabric and thread. Machines available to use or you can bring your own. You'll take home your finished bag and a pattern for making more.

**Who This Is For**
This workshop is for beginners comfortable with basic machine operation or anyone wanting a practical sewing project. You should be able to thread a machine and sew straight seams. Brand new beginners welcome (you will have to have a bit more patient with yourself)

All supplies and tools are included, and no previous experience is necessary.

Some workshops may involve heat, sharp tools, or other specialty materials, so participants must be 18 or older unless the class notes otherwise.

Classes have limited availability. If a session is full, you can join the waitlist, but openings are not guaranteed.

Tickets cannot be refunded or canceled. If you’re unable to attend, please reach out to arrange a make-up class on a future date.
