Join us on the UN's International Day of Zero Waste for an Open House as we unveil our groundbreaking Zero Waste Program, an innovative initiative aimed at tackling textile waste through fabric shredding and sheet pressing!

We invite you to come check out what we’ve been up to since 2017, and to watch our new fabric shredding machine in action as it turns textile waste into reusable fill!We’ll also have some fun sustainability demonstrations happening including:
Natural Dye Demos - - Learn about Natural Dyeing using plants grown in the West End Community Garden!
Materials & tools provided

Mending - - Learn techniques to expand the lifecycle of your clothing and keep them out of the landfill! Bring in a clothing item that needs simple repairs i.e. small holes or rips.
