This style of rucksack is brilliant & very on trend right now! The 5 hour workshop will be go, go, go so you will need to be fairly confident with using a sewing machine to join, we are happy for parent and child (age 9+) pairs to make one bag together. Includes all the rucksack hardware, a choice of 5 strap colours & lining fabric but DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR OUTER FABRIC, you'll need 1m of a good quality cotton/linen/denim etc (non stretchy) fabric or you can pay £10 to choose from our stash.
We would recommend bringing your own fabric cutting scissors if you have any.
If you are looking for get to know your sewing machine we'd recommend bringing it along, parking can be difficult nearby so we'd recommend dropping it off 10 mins before the start time then going to find a space to park.
We will have a short lunch break so do bring along a packed lunch or you can pop to Greggs nearby to grab something.
