Join us for a workshop where you'll create a Quilted Project Tote Bag! In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to construct a lined and quilted tote featuring two sturdy handles and an interior pocket. We’ll introduce you to two innovative products: foam interfacing for structure and lined interfacing to help you easily match corners and achieve the perfect 9-square quilt block.
While you will need to bring your own machine and thread, students are welcome to use studio supplies such as: cutting notions, board, ruler, rotary cutter, and iron. All materials outside of your machine are provided, making it simple to dive in and start sewing. Whether you're a seasoned sewer or a beginner, this workshop offers a fun opportunity to enhance your skills, make new friends, and walk away with a stylish, functional bag!
Important: Students need to be comfortable threading both the top thread and the bobbin of your machine. If you need a refresher, you can book a private session with Vod prior to the workshop!
