Session I: Executive Function Program Summer 2022 for Middle Schoolers

THIS 6-Week PROGRAM is for THEM!

What is included:

1. 6 group sessions: 60-90 minute coaching sessions via Zoom in which I help students prepare themselves for their upcoming or current academic and life schedules.
2. Topics covered include but are not limited to strategic studying, understanding your brain, organization, anti-procrastination, empowering communication between students and teachers, how to hone notes and creating a study plan for exams.
3. BONUS: Each student will also receive FREE access to one of our primary tools, the acclaimed “Anti-Boring Approach to Powerful Studying” (Value $195) created by Gretchen Wegner.

Total investment: $597 for the entire six weeks of support plus the Anti-Boring Online Course

Partial scholarships available.

This Group Coaching Program has set consecutive dates and times (see above). Sessions will not be recorded and there are no refunds so please be sure all the below dates work for your child. We are NOT Meeting July 4th so please save the other six dates to be sure your student is able to attend ALL sessions!

Our children are SO important! Remember, when we give a person a fish, they may eat for a day. When we teach them to fish, they can eat for a lifetime! Hire me to teach them to fish!

I empower students, 5th grade through college, many who struggle with anxiety, mild depression, and ADD/ADHD, to achieve their academic and social goals with less stress and more confidence while also weaving in FUN.

Students who work with me learn to balance their school and social lives, become aligned with what truly brings them alive, learn to advocate (gracefully) for themselves, and feel more successful on a regular basis! In addition to the students gaining confidence and becoming organized, there is more peace in the household because there is more calm and less anxiety!

Students and I do this by setting goals, practicing positive habits including mindfulness, and improving their executive function skills such as time management, organization, note taking, and strategic studying. I also specialize in supporting parents and their kids to become the family they want to be, enjoying each other more often while also celebrating their autonomy.

I have been a teacher for 30+ years including middle school, high school and community college. I used to be a private French and Spanish tutor for individuals and groups. I also raised five kids…I truly understand the student, parent, and teacher perspectives.

By intertwining Gretchen Wegner's Anti-Boring Approach to Powerful Studying with my work and life experiences, my students move from surviving to thriving!

What makes me unique?

I identify as queer and can usually be recognized because of my colorful hair. I am an anti-racist activist and trilingual; English, French and Spanish. I am also a singer & songwriter having performed in Europe and throughout the United States. And…I love playing with my food!
