Serving up Justice - Expunge Colorado event FUNdraiser

You're invited to a memorable evening of fun, games and raising funds for local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Expunge Colorado!

Join us at Ace Eat Serve as we bring back the FUN in FUNdraising by hosting their first big event fundraiser during April’s Second Chance Month.

At Expunge Colorado we believe that people are not defined by their past. Our mission is to enable people to move forward from their criminal records. We fullfill our mission through our three pillars of service: Education, Advocacy and Providing access to pro bono record sealing legal services.

Since 2018, we have hosted an annual record sealing clinic in the Denver metro area serving over 600 people through pro bono consultations. We have successfully sealed over 200 cases providing a beginning to end full service throughout the entire petition-based record sealing process which can take weeks and months to complete.

We have to get creative with our fundraising efforts as social justice centered funding and fundraising dollars are in decline. Our work is fairly serious so we wanted to do something unique with bringing our friends, volunteers, community partners and like-minded souls together for a fun night in Denver. About us: Expunge Colorado is the only nonprofit in Colorado to provide: pro bono record sealing services through our events, education for the public around record sealing and continue to advocate for justice-impacted individuals and statewide legislation impacting over the 1.3 million Coloradans with an eligible criminal record for sealing. We are instrumental to the passing of the Colorado Clean Slate Law (SB22-099 which automates record sealing for certain eligible cases beginning July 2024). We are active steering committee member within the Colorado Clean Slate coalition working on a smooth implementation of the Clean Slate law.
