Serving Those Who Serve: Culturally Competent Mental Health Care

Training Summary:Serving Those Who Serve is a 6.5-hour in-person CEU training designed for mental health professionals who want to better understand and support first responders and military service members. This culturally informed, trauma-sensitive course explores the unique stressors, department and military cultures, treatment barriers, and clinical strategies necessary for providing effective care to those who serve our communities and country. Led by Gared Deady, LCMHC, this training offers practical tools, case examples, and self-care guidance for clinicians working with this population.
