Santa Barbara County Food Bank hold multiple Empty Bowls events over the course of the year. At the event, Empty Bowls guests choose a beautiful handmade bowl, enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread and water, and take home the bowl as a reminder of the meal’s purpose: to feed the hungry in the Santa Maria community. The VSC is partnering with a local artist to help decorate some of the bowls for this year's event in Santa Maria. Stop by for a while and paint a bowl!We will be using the conference room of the VSFB IG Building # 10525 (near the corner of Nebraska Ave and California Blvd next to the Headquarters building). We hope you can join us!
