Service for PSOs and Incumbents - Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford

This service is for all Parish Safeguarding Officers and incumbents within the Diocese and will be held on Sunday 23rd November 2025 at 3pm at Christ Church Cathedral. The service is to thank you all for the hard work that goes in to making our churches safe places and will be led by the Bishop of Oxford.

There will be a choice of workshops to attend at 2pm and tea & cake after the service at 4pm.

Workshop A is about trauma-informed responses to survivors of abuse and will be run by the Oxford Survivor Group.

Workshop B is about managing the risk of those who have sexually offended and will be run by Kerensa Butcher who has a long history of working with Thames Valley Police.

Please note that Workshop B is taking place in the Chapter House, which does not have step-free access.
