Service for Advent in London - The Guard's Chapel

Dear Friends,

We are delighted that the cathedral choir is able to return to sing the much loved and appreciated Advent service at the Guards’ Chapel. As in other years, the service will open at 6:30 with an Act of Remembrance at the Memorial to the SAS.

Through the generosity of our many friends and supporters the Trust have been able to maintain its support for the Cathedral and its wonderful music. This service is an important fund-raiser for the Trust. In addition, it costs almost £10,000 to bring the choir to this venue in London. We do not charge an admission fee for a religious service but unless all who attend contribute at least £35 each, we barely cover the cost of the event. Therefore, we ask you to be as generous as possible.

We hope we will be able to welcome you to this year’s Advent service to hear this world class choir and join in from time to time at the start of the Christmas season.
