Pastor Puia Fanai was born and raised in Myanmar (Burma). His educational pursuit has taken him 9 years in Myanmar, 2 years in India, 3 years in the Philippines, and 10 years and counting in the USA. When his father was called to serve as a Pastor of a Mizo church in Maryland, his family moved to the USA in 2012. He graduated in 2016 from Washington Adventist University, and then served as a district Youth Pastor and assistant to the Youth Director in the Chesapeake Conference of SDA.
In June 2020, he graduated with a Master of Divinity from Andrews University. And after serving as a district pastor for 3 years in Hawaii Conference of SDA, he joined Hope Channel International at the General Conference in 2023 and now he’s serving as the Manager of Digital Evangelism for Hope Channel global network.
He’s also currently studying PhD in Theological Studies from Columbia International University, South Carolina.
Pastor Puia loves to share the love of Christ with others, and in his free time, he likes to play music and sports.
