Since making his recording debut in 2018, Jeff Ryan has rapidly emerged as one of contemporary jazz’s premier saxophonists. Known for his soulful tone, impeccable musicianship, and melodic songwriting, Ryan has become a dominant force on contemporary jazz radio while earning the respect of fans, broadcasters, and fellow musicians worldwide.
Ryan burst onto the scene with his debut album Embrace, produced by acclaimed keyboardist and producer Greg Manning,contemporary jazz keyboardist. The project introduced a fresh new voice to the genre and earned him the JazzTrax Breakout Artist of the Year and Smooth Jazz Network Debut Artist of the Year honors in 2018.
His momentum continued with an extraordinary string of radio successes. Ryan has earned five Billboard Smooth Jazz No. 1 singles, firmly establishing himself among the genre’s elite artists. His breakout hit “Up and Up” became his first Billboard No. 1, remaining atop the chart for more than four consecutive weeks.
