Serenity of the Sea Paint Party @ Heybridge

Come and join us on Thursday 27th August 2026 at The Bargemaster's Cabin, Basin Road, Heybridge Basin, for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon painting our Serenity of the Sea under the expert instruction of our Art Workshop Leader.
No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.
We supply everything you need to paint including a 20” by 16” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.
This event will start promptly at 3:00pm and run to around 6pm. Please note, this is an outside event and as such we are dependant on the weather. If this event is to be cancelled or postponed due to forecast bad weather I will make a decision by 10am on the day at the very latest and email everyone. Please check your emails before travelling.
Due to the outdoor table and seating arrangements, we can only seat groups of 2 or 3 people together. If coming with friends please book all tickets under the same name so we can seat your accordingly. Groups of 4 or more will be split over two tables or more.
As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the Cabin.

Daisy Meadow Car Park is a very short walk away and is £2.50 for upto 4 hours using cash or RingGo.
Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided. We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).
