This holiday season, acclaimed Canadian artist Serena Ryder invites you on a musical journey into the heart of the season’s most beloved traditions with Merry Myths – a festive concert inspired by the folklore, stories, and symbols that shape our ideas of the holiday season.Serena blends timeless holiday classics with her signature soulful songs. With powerful vocals, joyful energy, and heartfelt storytelling Serena creates an unforgettable evening that celebrates connection, community, and the magic of the season.
Joining her on stage is a handpicked ensemble of some of Canada’s most exceptional musicians: Brian Kobayawaka on bass (Jill Barber, Charlie Kaufman); David Direnzo on drums (Tom Cochrane, David Wilcox); Christine Bougie on guitar (solo artist, Bahamas); Lydia Persaud vocals and acoustic strings (solo artist, Dwayne Gretzky), who will also open the evening with a soulful set of her own.
