September Youth Ride Program (MTB Ride)

Trips for Kids Charlotte's mission is to transform lives, communities and landscapes through cycling. Join us on Saturday, September 21st at Colonel Francis Beatty Park (4330 Weddington Rd Matthews, NC) from 10 am to 12:30 pm as we kick off our Youth Ride Programming season! This is a FREE mountain bike trail ride event open to youth ages 9-16. Helmets and bikes can be provided (we'll need to know the age and height of each rider to make sure we can provide the correct size)! This trail ride is open to youth riders of ALL skill levels, though basic bike riding skills are needed to participate.

Closed toe shoes and a signed waiver are REQUIRED for participation. Don't forget to bring a waterbottle with plenty of water to stay hydrated!

Drop off is at Pump Track location next to tennis courts. At 10am will then take a short hike to the bike storage, fit youth for a bicycle and helmet and go through saftey and skills prior to ride.
