Join our YPTC staff on Sunday September 14th at 3PM to prepare for upcoming youth auditions for 2025 & 2026!
This class is free to actors age 9-17. Previous experience is not required.
The masterclass will last 3 hours as the kids will be divided into 3 groups and rotate between singing, acting, and dancing.
During this class, attendees will learn:
- Singing basics, vocal health, & vocal warmup
- Perfecting the Christmas Carol singing audition cuts (auditions September 29&30 of 2025)
- Audition Etiquette
- How to learn choreography quickly
- An audition dance combo to music from Godspell Jr (auditions in 2026)
- Acting skills and tips for auditions
- A look ahead at the characters and lines from Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical (auditions in October of 2025)

A parent or guardian MUST be present on the day of the class to sign the permission slip and waiver. Parents will be able to stay and watch, or leave and come back for pickup. Attendees who don't have a guardian present at drop off will not be allowed to participate.
