Step away from realism and discover the freedom of abstraction. This playful series offers a refreshing reset, releasing the pressure of “picture-perfect” painting while opening space for experimentation. Through wet-into-wet, wet-on-dry, and expressive mark-making, students will explore texture and build a personal resource portfolio to inspire future watercolor work.
• This is a 1-2 class project for each painting, depending on skills! The class is suitable for adults with minimal to some experience with painting.
• Whether you’re an experienced artist or just beginning your artistic journey, these weekly sessions provide a welcoming space for artistic exploration, fostering a supportive community of fellow enthusiasts.
