Back to school night! DJ Sherri will be playing all the cool tunes! Everyone is welcome to wear their back to school best! Start your week with some dancing, socializing, and snacking. Come join us each Monday night at the Firefighters Banquet Hall. Each week will start with classes that brush up and build on as the month proceeds. Please arrive early, classes will begin promptly at 7pm.
๐บ SEPTEMBER DANCE LESSONS:

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: This 6-count dance is where it all starts! This class is available every Monday night. East Coast 1 is perfect if you are new to swing dancing and want to begin your dance journey. This class will cover the main fundamentals of swing dancing such as basic posture, pulsing, weight transferring & core engagement.

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Following Lindy Hop 1, Lindy 2 will cover intermediate to some advanced concepts such as re-directional 8 count moves, breaks or pauses in the 8 count for musicality, connection exercises and music education.
NOTE: Lindy Hop 2 will NOT cover basics of Lindy 1 and it is recommended to be familiar with triple steps, weight shifting, counter balance control & basic fundamentals of Lindy Hop 1 before entering Lindy Hop 2. If you are unsure of whether or not you are ready for this course, please get an evaluation from one of our instructors!

๐๐ฒ๐๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป: Get your kicks with this fast paced variation! Originally a solo dance, can be added to partnered dance intro to swing and lindyhop! Ideal for fast songs and upbeat tempos, learn how to put it all together in class.
NOTE: While these classes are available each week, please know that it takes personal commitment to improve your dancing. This may include self-practice, group practices, or private lessons with instructors. Growth requires pushing your limits & testing your potential. Dance is no exception to this rule. Each of our instructors began at the exact same place as you did!

The San Antonio Fire Fighter's Banquet Hall is located on the access road of West I-10 right next to the ramp that leads down from Medical Drive on the right side.
๐ PARKING:
The SAFFBH parking can fit up to 100 vehicles. The parking lot is directly outside of the building on the left side. There is also additional parking on the right side.

We have been given permission from the SA Firefighters Association to allow our guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages. Water bottles & sodas will remain for sale.
NOTE: We have the right to deny entry or to escort guests out of the premises if we feel they are above the legal intoxication limit, are disturbing the peace, or are attempting to serve alcohol to minors. Keep in mind that this is an all-ages event and while we allow adults to bring their own beverages we must remind everyone to be responsible and follow the law.
