During our sound baths, you focus your attention on the music. This process of deep listening helps you begin to sink into your own internal sounds – the rhythm of your breath, your heartbeat, your body’s music. Our monthly sound baths offer an hour of deep meditation and relaxation, a re-tuning of your system, an experience with healing frequency & vibration
A sound bath begins with each person lying down or seated, a few minutes of focused breathing and guided heart-opening meditation, followed by the sounds of a variety of sound instruments – gongs, singing bowls, harp, chimes, drum or voice. This meditation offers your mind a journey, a chance to explore a shift in perspective or an answer you are searching for. The gong provides a powerful grounding vibration that allows you to feel and bring the sound deeply into your body. The bowls and chimes allow you to explore the lightness and floating of relaxation and movement. The sounds surround you, travel through your liquid body, and move energy. When you sink into a sound bath, deeply listening, you allow your brain waves to shift to a more relaxed or even dream state, supporting a state of harmony and coherence.
We will have some props available for your comfort and you are also welcome to bring anything to make yourself comfortable. ...pillows, blankets, etc.
Handicap accessible.
If you have very sensitive hearing, you may also appreciate ear plugs or headphones to soften the sound and allow your body to work with the vibration.
