1. Welcome, introductions, Approval of July minutes - Leslie Cooke
*Introduction of candidates for Mayor and Wards 1 & 4 City Council
2. Presenters
-Law Enforcement Update – Sgt. Glenn Gunther - BPD
-Hwy 3 Corridor Study Discussion - Scott Aspenlieder - MDOT Commissioner
3. New business and discussion of any old business items
-Task force boundaries
-Open discussion of City and neighborhood issues - all
4. Adjournment
POST-ADJOURNMENT:
Jim Nichols will be available to meet with neighbors who have questions and feedback regarding the Stagecoach Trail.
*Candidates for Mayor and Council will each have a table so that neighbors can learn about their positions on City topics.
*The Rimrock Neighborhoods Task Force is non-partisan, and does not endorse candidates. We encourage all members to visit with the candidates so each of us can make an informed decision.
Neighbors helping neighbors:
FOOD DRIVE: We will collect non -expired, non-perishable food items to support neighbors in need. You can designate your donation to either the Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools, or Mayflower Church’s food program. Cash donations to either organization are also welcome.
The Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools runs food insecurity programs for students at risk.
Mayflower Church collects and distributes food helping local families.
*Although we are not affiliated with the Mayflower congregation,
they very graciously allow us the use of their building for our meetings

*Transportation Corridor Plan - city project - particularly how safety can be improved on Rimrock, Zimmerman, Hwy 3 and other corridors within our task force area
*Safe Routes to School initiatives
*West End Plan - city project - with development increasing on the far west end - we see increased traffic issues in our task force area
*Rimrock Road project west of Shiloh - city project
*The City’s plan for parks
*Land use along the new Skyway Drive - city/county planning
*Trails - city and other organizations
*Crime trends in our task force area - BPD
*Impacts of the urban turkey population - Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks
