We are continuing our Progressive Lessons in September. On Wednesdays in September we will be offering two separate four week classes. From 6:00-7:00 we will be offering an Introduction to Charleston. From 7:00-8:00 we will be offering an Introduction to Lindy.
We are excited that Sophia and Ike will be teaching these classes.
Introduction to Charleston
Charleston is an 8 count form of swing dancing that has a strong pulse where you dance side by side and mix in any number of really cool moves.
You can easily switch back and forth between East Coast Swing, Lindy and Charleston. Charleston adds another cool dimension to your swing dance repertoire.
No experience is required for our Introduction to Charleston Class.
Introduction to Lindy
This class will introduce to the wonderful world of Lindy Hop. If you are just starting out we would recommend first taking the Introduction to Swing progressive series. In this series will be introducing 8-count footwork, swing out from closed, swing out from open and a Lindy Circle. We will also be introducing and discussing general partner dance concepts including how to create an awesome connection with your partner.
We take Venmo (@NoCo-SwingDance) or cash or check on or before the first night. Please arrive early so we can get you checked in.
