What does 'Man Up' mean to you?
That's one of the questions I'll be asking Gareth Shanthikumar, Co-Founder of Man Up and 2026 WA Young Australian of the Year, at the next Leaders Lobby Perth event.
With the event falling on R U OK? Day, the event focus will be mental health and men's wellbeing.Gareth and his co-founder Dr Haseeb Riaz were awarded WA Young Australians of the Year for helping equip boys with tools for self-awareness and empathy before harmful behaviours take root.
The positive changes from the MAN UP early intervention work are impressive ... with 24,000+ boys participating across 130+ schools in WA.
I'll lead with vulnerability, sharing my mental health and burnout journey – plus ask Gareth the hard questions about his purpose for redefining masculinity.
