For the month of September we are stoked to spotlight producer/dj/video mastermind, Maculate!!
Maculate, an award winning Video DJ and Music Video Creator will be sharing how he does his video productions syncing his own visuals to his tracks! Take your performance up a notch and learn from the best in the game!

7-8:30pm - Producer Social: Dj, drinks and conversation with fellow producers.
Maculate Bio: Maculate is known across the globe as one of the world’s most prolific Music Video Creators and Video DJs. His Video DJ shows are legendary and unmistakably unique, blending the vintage and the contemporary, inviting sights and sounds from the past into a funky bass-filled future.
In 2023, Maculate won Best Video DJ of the Year at the Twitch TV Awards after being a finalist in 2021 and 2022. In 2021, Maculate was named Global Funk Fam’s Artist of the Year and was chosen to become an Official Twitch Partner. His previous clients include Sony Immersive Music, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Viacom, Facebook, Microsoft, Chivas Regal, Smirnoff and The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. His work has also been featured at The White House twice, South by Southwest, the Game Developer’s Conference, and Hofstra’s 2016 Presidential Debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Maculate has shared the stage with Cut Chemist, Chali 2na, A. Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Fort Knox Five, Slynk, The Freestylers, Skiitour, Marten Horger and has performed at the biggest stages at Shambhala Music Festival, Opulent Temple at Burning Man, and MOM's Ball at Mardis Gras.
Maculate has created over 2000 Original Music Video edits over the last decade, sampling the finest from Cinema, Television and Animation, making every show unique and unforgettable. He is proud to have worked on Official Music Videos for Redman, The Bloody Beetroots, Bam from the Jungle Brothers, Krafty Kuts, A. Skillz, The Freestylers, The Funk Hunters, The Nextmen, WBBL, JFB, Beardyman, Fort Knox Five, and hundreds of others. His videos are played at shows all over the world by artists like The Funk Hunters and his Music Videos have been viewed over 13 million times on Youtube.
From 2006 - 2013, Mac lived in Shanghai, China where he was Creative Director for the Media Company, Soulfire as well as starting the Hip Hop Duo Evil Einsteins with MC One Consciousness. Along with performing as Evil Einsteins, Mac was a Resident DJ/VJ/Video DJ at seminal underground clubs like Logo, Dada, Zapata’s, C’s, and Shelter. He toured at clubs across every province in China, as well as some of its biggest music festivals including the iconic MIDI Festival several times.
In 2013, Mac returned to his hometown of Pittsburgh to get his Masters in Entertainment Technology, where he won The Randy Pausch Award – the top award in the program – for pushing the limits of interactive music experiences. In Pittsburgh, Maculate was a Resident DJ at the iconic Tilden Club, Remedy and was featured at shows at The Westin and The Goldmark. In 2019, Maculate moved out to California, becoming an official DJ for Fraktured SF as well as Heavy Petting Zoo and Disco Donutz, Video DJing at events all across California. He has been done shows at several of the top clubs in San Francisco including The Midway, Public Works, The Great Northern, Monarch, Monarch Gardens, and The Mint.
In 2020, Mac created Funklectic, a weekly party on Twitch that has grown to become a global phenomenon over the past 100 plus weeks, featuring some of the best DJs from across the planet including Krafty Kuts, A. Skillz, The Nextmen, Stickybuds, Father Funk, Fort Knox Five The Gaff, and hundreds of others. In 2022/2023, Maculate threw the first Funklectic shows in person headlined by A. Skillz and Slynk in Canada and San Francisco. Funklectic epitomizes Maculate’s musical philosophy: Positive vibes with a core of Funk expertly mixed in an eclectic blend of Party-Rocking Bass, Soul, Hip Hop, House, Breaks and Drum and Bass. Over the past two years on Twitch, Mac has built a loyal global audience of 9,000 followers thanks to his one-of-a-kind audio/visual shows, relentless energy, and dozens of unique themes. With nearly 20 years DJing and 9,000+ Music Videos in his Serato Crates, Maculate is comfortable playing any style in order to deliver an experience for his audiences that won’t ever be forgotten.
