September Local History Group Meeting Fore and Aft - A Pictorial Journey through the Purton Ships Graveyard
Speaker: Paul Barnett
The Purton Hulks are the largest ships graveyard in mainland Britian with some 86 vessels littering the banks of the River Severn. Now in his 26th year of research Paul Barnett details the history of the site, its purpose and its development.
