Many donors make a single gift and never give again, but thoughtful, strategic engagement can transform an initial contribution into a lasting relationship. This session will explore how to create meaningful donor journeys, craft resonant messaging, and use data to identify supporters with long-term potential. Participants will also learn how timely, personalized communication can encourage second gifts, strengthen retention, and deepen donors’ connection to their organization’s mission.
Our presenter, Doug Scott, Vice President of Ashley|Rountree’s Fundraising Solutions Division, guides organizations in major-gifts strategy, donor engagement, and development infrastructure. Drawing on more than a decade of nonprofit leadership experience, Doug specializes in building relationship-centered fundraising strategies that strengthen donor pipelines and prepare organizations for transformational appeals.
