September Greater Flint Community Safety Collaborative Meeting
Hasselbring Senior Center, 2111 Flushing Rd, Flint, MI 48504
CSC Meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
The Community Safety Collaborative (CSC) brings together community partners to build a blueprint for gun violence prevention in Flint, grounded in data, resident support, and a public health approach to the issue. CSC also backs the work already happening on the ground, supporting the individuals, groups, and organizations doing the work of gun violence prevention every day.
CSC exists to guide and strengthen Flint's Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI). Through a countywide, multi-method approach to data collection, the group digs into the patterns and root causes of violence in Flint and helps shape a strategic plan to address them.
