Women’s Regalia & Dance
We are honored to welcome two powerful leaders from Milwaukee’s Native community who will share teachings, regalia, and dance styles:
> Lana Schocko of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians will share her personal journey with Jingle Dress dancing as a path of healing and self-discovery.
> Kelly Waupoose of the Menominee Nation.
“My dance journey started later in life than most, at the age of 15. After raising my family, I returned to the circle, and it felt like I had never left. It’s never too late to do the things you want to in life.”

• Dance Demonstrations (Jingle Dress & Woodland/Applique) Stories of resilience, healing, and tradition
