Learn some basic woodworking skills and make a beautiful cutting board!Learn some basic woodworking skills while making a beautiful cutting board of mixed hardwoods for yourself or someone you love.
In this workshop, participants will choose from a selection of pre-glued boards and learn the safety and use of the drill press, router table, bandsaw, and sanders to get their boards shaped and smoothed to perfection. Then you will apply a food safe oil to protect the wood for years to come. All materials are included in the cost of the class. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required. Come enjoy our shop and tools, make friends, and learn a new skill.
A bout the Instructor:
Cori Pillows is a multidisciplinary artist with a Masters in Fine Arts specializing in sculpting painting and woodworking. Her unique art skill set contributes to a final product that can be described as functional art.
