About this Event

**Bring a rain jacket if it looks like it might rain**

It's weeding time! Everything is lush and growing. We will mostly be weeding and pulling LOTS of bindweed. We'll have a bounty of veggies for you to take home: tomatoes, squash, eggplant, and some raspberries!

We'll be doing a lot of maintenance on the edges of the garden. The vines are going crazy. We can't emphasize enough - there are so many weeds to pull!

As always, there is compost to mix and turn.

* IMPORTANT: there is not a reliable bathroom facility at our garden. We apologize for the inconvenience, it is something we are working on remediating. We understand if you have to leave early. Please figure this into your planning.

The food in the Collective Garden at Toplot is grown directly for the people like you who use their time and energy to plant and maintain it. Any left over food goes Food Rescue Baltimore or Baltimore Food not Bombs.

The Collective Garden is a co-learning space, so if there is something you want to know more about please ask! We also hope to learn from you and your experiences in the garden, the forest, or otherwise. Please bring drinking water. We provide tools, gloves and a hands washing station. Please bring a bag or something to take veggies home if you can.
