September Candle Making Workshop at The Peacock

Make a candle. Make it yours.
Join Columbia Basin Creations for a hands-on candle making workshop at The Peacock in Kennewick. This month we're working with our signature Falling Leaves scent: a warm, woodsy blend with a hint of apple cider and the kind of smoke that says the windows just closed for the season. You'll have the option to choose of one several of our other signature scents as well!
Over two hours, our team walks you through every step: choosing your vessel, blending your fragrance, pouring your wax, and finishing your candle so it cures cleanly at home. You leave with two finished 8 oz candles you made yourself, a wick that's centered and ready to burn, and the satisfaction of knowing exactly what went into it.
Who's it for: Makers, date-nighters, friend groups, and anyone who wants a slow evening with a project at the end of it. Ages 13 and up. Younger kids welcome with a parent — reach out and we'll talk it through.
What to expect:
• 2-hour guided workshop
• All materials included — vessel, wax, wick, fragrance, label
• 2 8 oz candles to take home
• Small group setting (20 seats)
• Instruction from the Columbia Basin Creations team
Before you come:
• The Peacock's kitchen and bar are open before, during, and after the class. Come early, grab a table, order dinner or a drink, and roll into the workshop relaxed.
• Wear something you don't mind getting a little wax on. We provide gloves, but candle making is a hands-on craft.
• Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
Tickets: $40 per person · 20 seats
