Dr. David Gattie is an Associate Professor of Engineering at the University of Georgia and Senior Fellow with UGA’s Benson-Bertsch Center for International Trade and Security. He leads UGA’s Energy Security Studies Program, focusing on energy policy, electric power planning, energy security, and the economic and national security implications of energy resources and technologies. He has 14 years of private industry experience and has testified before the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee and state legislative committees on energy, climate, and nuclear power policy.
