Tacos '76 was born from childhood memories of travels to my parent's homeland La Barca & Guadalajara, Jalisco. It is a tribute to my heritage and an homage to the vibrant and colorful neighborhood of Little Village [the historically Mexican-American community on the west side of Chicago]. My endless passion constantly leads me to travel back to Mexico to scout for new regional flavors and recipes, including those handed down from generation to generation. Tacos '76 is proud to highlight the beauty of Mexico's most popular street food, home cooked meals and our culture.
