Join us for an Artwalk book signing at The Haunted Book Shop on September 11th with author Laura Grantham. Laura will chat with guests about her two children's book series as shoppers browse our selection of genre fiction, general fiction, nonfiction, poetry collections, and more! Say hi to Mr. Bingley, the world's coolest bookstore cat, and give all the haints of The Haunted Book Shop a "Happy Artwalk!" greeting.

About Laura Grantham:
Laura Grantham is a children’s author, educator, and longtime law enforcement professional who believes meaningful conversations can start with a good story and a wagging tail. Through her two children’s book series, the Estie Files and Stories of the Shore and Sea, she creates books that encourage online safety, kindness, courage, and caring for the world around us. Laura and her K9 partner, Estie, an Electronic Storage Device Detection (ESD) K9, also visit schools and community events to inspire children through education and connection.

Here's a bit about one of Laura's delightful works, Estie Files: A Tail of Cyberbullying:

When hurtful comments about Sarah’s big, bushy tail begin spreading online, she starts to question what makes her special. With help from Estie the K9 and Oliver the Owl, Sarah learns that a bully’s words don’t define her, and that speaking up and asking for help takes courage.

A gentle story that teaches kids about cyberbullying, kindness, self-confidence, and reaching out to a trusted adult.
