The second annual Castro Art Walk X SF Railway Museum event is here!
You are invited to experience 20 specialized art exhibits on the September 4th Castro Art Walk from 5:00-8:00 pm!!
We offer guided and self-guided tours of the Castro's 21 art events. For this walk, the guided tour will start at the SF Railway Museum (77 Steuart St.) an hour early at 4:00 pm.
This art walk is extra special. In honor of Transit Month, stop zero, SF Railway Museum, will host a transit-themed pop-up gallery! The gallery will open at 4:00 pm, 1 hour before the art walk. We will enjoy the gallery, then take the streetcar to see the rest of the stops on the walk.
Additionally, participate in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win a prize!! There will be one of these transit-themed artworks hidden in some of our 19 locations on the Castro Art Walk. Be one of the first two people to email a photo of yourself with all pieces to [email protected] and win an exciting prize!
20 art galleries and local merchants stay open late to host special events, highlighting local and international artists, that the community can experience all in one night every month.
