How do we pass on stories? What are the most important parts? Inspired by Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons, Lemons what do we discover when we limit the number words of words we use to tell an epic story?
Join us for a morning of exploration and experimentation led by Company Member Carey Cahoon.
theatre KAPOW hosts open trainings in acting, movement, improvisation, voice, speech, object work, suzuki, viewpoints, and more. Company members have trained with Double Edge Theatre Company, Tectonic Theater Project, La Mama Experimental Theatre Club, the Michael Chekhov Studio, Shakespeare & Company, The Atlantic Acting School and SITI Company, and draw on these techniques and methods for their work.
Training is open to everyone 16 and older, with any level of experience, or none! Participants should come comfortably dressed to move (no jeans).
Pay what you can, $5 recommended. Cash can be paid at the door. SPACE IS LIMITED - please reserve a ticket
