This month: Approaches to Theatre MakingArtistic Director Matt Cahoon will lead an introduction (or refresher) to making work in unexpected ways.
theatre KAPOW hosts open trainings in acting, movement, improvisation, voice, speech, object work, suzuki, viewpoints, and more. Company members have trained with Double Edge Theatre Company, Tectonic Theater Project, La Mama Experimental Theatre Club, the Michael Chekhov Studio, Shakespeare & Company, The Atlantic Acting School and SITI Company, and draw on these techniques and methods for their work.
Training is open to everyone 16 and older, with any level of experience, or none! Participants should come comfortably dressed to move (no jeans).
The recommended cost is $5 or pay what you will. SPACE IS LIMITED - please register in advance!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and stretch.
