Come and Welcome in the New Growing Season with us!After a short break over Winter (Jun - Aug), our FIRST Members Meeting for the new growing season 24/25 will be held on 19 Sep 2024 at 7.30pm.
If you are new to growing dahlias or want to start growing dahlias and are unsure of what is involved, then this meeting is for you!
Our Guest Speaker is Mardi Rhoden, our new "DAHLIAS" magazine Editor. Join us in welcoming Mardi to our dahlia family. Mardi will also be sharing her love of flowers on her flower farm, Quite Contrary Flowers.
Our growing update this year will be presented by Abby Horsburgh.
Abby was the 2024 Novice Champion. We can't wait to hear from Abby and learn about how got Abby got started with dahlias and what she is doing in her own patch right now to prepare for the new season!
This meeting includes our famous Tuber Clump sale where our members are offered the option to buy a raffle ticket to choose a complete dahlia clump to take home. Dahlia tubers can them be planted out in Spring. This is a great way to get started on your dahlia growing journey or to add to your collection.

Our meeting room opens from 7pm, meeting starts at 7.30pm.
