September 2021 Meeting: Nominations to the Board

With the election of the 2022 coalition board right around the corner in October, the time to pay your membership dues is now. Membership dues allow you to vote in our election for the board, support the neighborhood coalition's activism on behalf of the neighborhood and historic district, and give us the organizing power to do events like National Night Out, the Citizen Air Monitoring Network, and the Capitol Street Steps Mosaic Project. Both the Citizen Air Monitoring Network and the Capitol Street Stairs Project have their own funding sources as well but the St. Vincent's Hill Neighborhood Coalition is the fiscal sponsor for both projects. Our Non-profit status allows donations to those projects to be tax deductible.Nominations to the board will take place at our September meeting on September 29th. Then the actual voting for the board positions of Secretary, Treasurer, President, Vice-President, and Member(s) of the Board will take place at the October 27 meeting. If you would like to be on the board, or nominate someone else for the board, and cannot attend the September meeting for some reason then please contact me.
2022 Membership dues are 20 dollars per household, or 10 dollars if it is a senior or disabled household. Please send your check for dues to St. Vincent's Hill Neighborhood Coalition, c/o Nathan Stout, President, 402 Carolina Street, Vallejo, CA 94590. Include your address, phone number, and email address as well as the names of household members. Each household member can vote. You can also pay your dues in person at the September or October meetings. We will give you a receipt for your dues.
